Day 1: Arrive in Jaisalmer
Today you will arrive in Jaisalmer, and our driver will pick you from the station, or Airport. To reach Jaisalmer from Ahmedabad you can take:
- 10 hour bus ride
- train flight for Jaisalmer
Then in 2nd half of the day you will visit a few sites in Jaisalmer city like:
- Gadisar Lake
- Bada Bagh
- Vyas Chhatri
- Puppet Show (NK Sharma)
And by night we will drop you at the hotel for rest.
Day 2: Jaisalmer City & Desert
After an complimentary breakfast at the hotel, we will first visit Jaisalmer Golden Fort, which is the only alive fort in India, meaning that a big chunk of population still live inside the fort. Here you will visit:
- Three haveli of Patwon, Salim Singh & Nathmal
- Fort markets & 600 year old temples
- Cannon point
Later in the 2nd half of the day, we would have explored the above places places and then by 3:30 pm we will leave for desert side of Jaisalmer (Sam Sand Dunes). Here you will:
- Check-in at booked camp
- Welcome tikka ceremony & drinks
- Safari tour from Camp parking
- Musical dance program at Camp
- Buffet dinner
- Night stay at Camp
Day 3: Jodhpur Arrival
By morning, after having a complimentary breakfast at the camp, we will leave for Jodhpur and arrive by 3-4 pm. In evening you can rest or visit the local markets.
Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing
Today you will have the full day to explore Jodhpur, where you will see sites like:
- Mehrangarh Fort
- Jaswant Thada
- Umaid Bhawan Palace
- Rao Jodha Park
- Mandore Gardens
- Clock tower area.
Day 5: Ahmedabad departure
Today you will checkout from the hotel and our driver will drop you at railway station or Airport. And with this 5 days tour will be finished.
Note:
- Jaisalmer to Ahmedabad bus ride is of 10-12 hours.
- Hotel in city on day 2 is only for freshen up and a few hour rest, night stay on day 2 will be in Camp.
- All food/ meals served in Hotel & Camp in Jaisalmer is veg.
- Bus ride will be sleeper AC .
